The Keepsake Capsule Pendant is made to discreetly hold a small personal memento. This may be a lock of hair, a baby tooth, dried flowers, sand or cremation ashes. The pendant is filled by the maker, and once sealed beneath the gemstone, the contents are completely hidden. Only you know what is held within.
Cast in solid sterling silver and finished by hand. The pendant has a 2mm wall thickness and an integrated 5mm jump ring, giving it strength for everyday wear. A gemstone of your choice is set into a hand-soldered bezel to seal and protect the keepsake.
Choose your gemstone, silver or gold bezel, and a brushed or high-polish finish. Additional detailing can be added if desired.

What can be placed inside the pendant?
The capsule can hold a small personal keepsake such as a lock of hair, a baby tooth, dried flowers, sand, fabric or cremation ashes. The contents are sealed inside and are not visible once finished.
How is the keepsake added to the pendant?
You can drop off your keepsake at the studio or post it. I will place it inside the capsule and seal it beneath the gemstone.
Can the pendant be opened again in the future?
No. Once sealed, the pendant is permanent. This keeps the contents protected and secure.
Will anyone be able to see what’s inside?
No. The keepsake is completely hidden from view. Only you know what is held within the pendant.
How do I choose the gemstone?
We can look at stones together, or you can tell me a colour, mood or meaning you feel drawn to. I will source options and provide a quote based on your selection.
Can I choose a gold bezel or decorative details?
Yes. You can choose silver or gold for the bezel and add details such as surface texture or small soldered accents. These will be quoted individually.
How long does it take to make?
Once details are confirmed, making time is usually 2–4 weeks. If you need the piece for a particular date, please mention this when you enquire.
How much does it cost?
From £170. This covers the pendant and hand finishing. The gemstone and any additional custom work are quoted individually.
Do the pendants come hallmarked?
Hallmarking is not included as standard. If you would like your pendant hallmarked, this can be added for an additional fee. Please mention this when you enquire and I will confirm the cost and time needed.
How do I care for the pendant?
Clean using a soft cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or ultrasonic cleaners. The pendant is suitable for everyday wear, but remove it for swimming or contact sports. Try not to immerse the pendant in water.
