About

I'm a silversmith and jeweller dedicated to bringing the natural beauty of gemstones to life through fine, limited edition pieces. My journey into jewellery-making began as a way to reconnect with myself after having my second child, transforming a lifelong love for gems into a creative and fulfilling business.

While balancing a career as a software engineering manager, I find fulfilment in crafting pieces that are beautiful and meaningful; Unlike the transient nature of software, jewellery is designed to be cherished for a lifetime, carrying stories and memories with them.

Every piece begins at my bench, here in my home, Manchester, United Kingdom. Depending on the design, I may start with a sketch, carve a wax model by hand or create a prototype out of brass/copper. Or sometimes I start straight away fabricating directly in precious metals.

I enjoy the variety of traditional jewellery techniques and the challenge of transforming raw materials into something that can be worn and treasured for years.

I work primarily in recycled sterling silver and carefully sourced gemstones, creating jewellery that balances clean, contemporary forms with the individuality of handmade craftsmanship.

While I love the process of making jewellery, I'm equally fascinated by the materials themselves. Gemstones in particular have become an enduring source of inspiration, and I spend a great deal of time sourcing stones with exceptional colour, character and individuality

Whether it's a piece of fiery translucent carnelian, vivid apple-green chrysoprase or turquoise from a tiny Nevada prospect mine, I believe the personality of a piece often begins with the stone itself. I'm drawn to materials that tell a story and reward closer inspection.

My fascination with gemstones extends beyond the workshop. I recently completed the Gemmological Association of Great Britain's Introduction to Gemmology course and am currently studying towards the Gem-A Foundation Certificate.

The more I learn, the more appreciation I gain for the incredible variety found in the natural world. This growing knowledge informs how I select materials and helps me better understand the gemstones that find their way into my work.

Thank you for taking the time to learn about my work. Every piece is designed and made by hand in my workshop, and I hope each one brings as much joy to wear as it did to create.
