Be Your Own Light Lantern Talisman Necklace

Inspired by The Hermit tarot card, the "Be Your Own Light" talisman is a celebration of self-trust, resilience and the quiet strength we often fail to recognise in ourselves.

I received my first tarot deck when I was sixteen; a gift from my parents. At the time, I was drawn to the Strength card, believing its message was about determination and willpower. Looking back, I realise the card I needed most was The Hermit.

The Hermit carries a lantern, lighting his own path through the darkness. Its message is a simple but powerful one: we already possess the wisdom and strength we spend so much time searching for elsewhere.

The lantern design is cast in sterling silver and features a sapphire set within a 9ct gold bezel, representing the light carried within. The reverse is engraved with the words "Be Your Own Light", transforming the piece from a simple pendant into a wearable reminder of self-reliance, courage and trust in your own journey.

Each pendant is made to order and finished by hand, created specifically for its future owner.
